本公司創立於1970年代於新北市金屬製品製造用地「頂崁工業區」，在台已有五十年之歷史，從事設計製造首飾機械工具為主之企業，如輪壓機、拋光機等首飾成品機械為大宗輸出
此外，亦接收個人工作室或企業來設計圖，由本公司妥託製造（Original Equipment Manufacturer, OEM）。
金祥吉專注生產由客戶設計之圖樣，而金祥吉成功關鍵在於精細成熟的技術，協助客戶產出精緻的金工作品與產品。
自創立以來，金祥吉不斷在各產業推陳出新。除了首飾成品機械產業外，本公司因具有40年開發輪壓機的經驗，也投入心於台灣觀光業，為各大遊樂區、博物館、特展之紀念幣機設計生產，深耕「創新研發」、「機台管理」與「營運」三大業務範軸，金祥吉亦為台灣首位紀念幣機製造者。
金祥吉的眾多客戶遍佈全球，除國內首飾產業外，亦外銷日韓、中國、東南亞各國等十餘國。
近年來除了與企業合作產製成品機械外，也注國內重金工人才培育，經常與大專院校工藝設計等金屬工藝相關科系合作，提供高效率且可靠的整合方案與服務，為台灣金工藝術人才發展盡一份心力，如國立台南藝術大學應用藝術研究所、國立台灣藝術大學、嶺東科技大學等。

With 40-year experience in coin elongation machine development, Golden Luck Co., Ltd. also contributes to Taiwan tourism by designing and manufacturing coin elongation machines at amusement parks, museums, and special exhibitions.
Golden Luck Co., Ltd. also pays attention to nurturing internal metalwork talents, and cooperates with related departments, like Science and Technology Design Department, in universities and colleges, providing high efficient and reliable integration plan and service.
